Product Design
Coached product designers in the creation of several new features, as well as enhancements of existing ones; in some early cases I designed the interaction and UI myself.
- Leveraged collaborative design techniques such as Design Sprints, Sketching, Paired Design and Design Critique to involve multidisciplinary roles in the Design process for a variety of core features:
- Revamped the entire UI as we moved from PHP to Elixir / Phoenix + React (dozens of tactical usability improvements packed into a UI general upgrade).
- Designed the MVP for a Fintech suite of features (enabling order payments via a digital Ventup Wallet, and order financing).
- Enhanced existing reports and designed a variety of new operational and financial reports.
- Fully refactored, in collab. with Tech, the core components of our B2B e-commerce experience (i.e. “shopping cart”), integrating more than half a dozen different variations into a mega component.
- Designed multiple ancillary features that support B2B procurement, e.g. order templates, order-approval flows, custom delivery schedules, and many more.
- Designed dozens of features and flows for managing order invoicing, following standards of the Mexican tax system.
- Designed the entire workflow for the kitchen to place requisitions to the procurement team.
- Enhanced critical parts of the buying/selling experience for mobile devices, in lieu of developing mobile native apps.
